今回もTome of Deathのいる図書室にある、黒い背表紙の本を調べると、"The Varsoon Collection, Volume 1 - Varsoon and the Combine Era"（“ヴァースーン・コレクション、第1巻 - ヴァースーンと結合の時代”）が手に入り、ページを集めるためにコウモリ、an enchanted tomeなどの本、蜘蛛を倒しました。

途中でアチーブメントに、Initiate Golem Slayer（新規のゴーレムを討ち果す者）が付与されました。

ついでにa mindless cook（心のない料理人）、a Varsoon steward（ヴァースーンの幹事）、ネームドのPritchett the Taster（毒味役のプリチェット）、The Crimson Butcher（深紅の屠殺人）なども倒し、戦利品にAdvanced Tailor Volume 30（高度な仕立て屋第30巻）、"The Varsoon Collection, Volume 2 - The Quest for Immortality"（“ヴァースーン・コレクション、第2巻 - 不死の探求”）、woven engraved tunic（織られた刻印入りチュニック）、Stained Crimson Cap（汚れた深紅の帽子）、Hoop of the Kunzar（クンザーのフープ）、Binding the Tome of Life（生命の書物の装丁）、Natural Selection2(Master)（ナチュラル・セレクション）、Bria's Entrancing Sonnet2(Adept)、Shield of Blackwood3(Master)、Judgment3(Adept)、Lucky Gambit3(Master)、Malice3(Adept)、Malevolent Diatribe2(Master)を獲得しました。
